In 1951, a two-story building of the Vostok Hotel was built for guests of the city of Kokshetau. This building was distinguished by its architecture, originality and comfort. The entrance to the building was decorated with six stucco columns. I admired the elegance of the interior decoration of the building; there were carpets everywhere, cleanliness and order. The hotel consisted of thirty-five well-furnished rooms, a restaurant, a bright reading room, a recreation room and a utility room. Until the end of the 1960s, the Vostok Hotel was the only one in the city.

Do you know what is now located on the site of the Vostok Hotel?
